Puget Sound Skills Center is a Career & Technical Education school in South Seattle just west of SeaTac International Airport. PSSC began in 1966. It serves high school Juniors and Seniors offering 18 different programs. Four local school districts are consortium members including Federal Way, Highline, Tahoma and Tukwila. Fife SD is a participant too. Other private high schools have access to our programs.

Public Art work - see PSSC example (a welding class piece)
Do you think the government should support art work financially in public buildings? Why or why not? What about supporting art in schools?
Yes I do think that the government should support art work financially in public buildings, because it shows how a building can become unique in its own way. I support art in schools, because it helps with spirit and involving students.
yes i believe they should because art is important thing in life. There are alot of kids who are interested in art and they should be able to do art in public places and also in schools. Art lets you express yourself through what ever art form you like best.
I think they should support some art work because it is expressive and shows passion and is something to look at, but i dont think they should fund all of it because some people are not good at art work.
I think that Art work should be supported by the government because it sort of shows what the school is about and what they are focused and passionate about.
i think the government should support anything education based. the economy is getting worse making school days and weeks shorter making the education span for students shorter. which means children are gonna be stupid because they didn't get all the education needed.

I think the government shouldn't have to support art work finacially in public buildings because I think it should be the buildings or whoever owns the buildings responsibility to make the building more appealing. I do think the government should support art in schools though.
