Puget Sound Skills Center is a Career & Technical Education school in South Seattle just west of SeaTac International Airport. PSSC began in 1966. It serves high school Juniors and Seniors offering 18 different programs. Four local school districts are consortium members including Federal Way, Highline, Tahoma and Tukwila. Fife SD is a participant too. Other private high schools have access to our programs.

Valentines Day!
What do you think of Valentines Day? Is it one of those days we celebrate that is outdated or tough on too many people? Give me your school appropriate thoughts. Then comment on two other posts.
I think that if you love someone every day should be a special day. It is a day that is tough on many people, because most feel lonely and lost. I think that it is fun to give a gift, but it is also hard for some people.
Ummm; I'm Really Not A Fan Of Valentines Day. I Really Don't Care For It.Every Year It Seems Like Less People Have Valentines So Yeah Its Getting tough On People. Cute Pick Though.
I think that valentines day is a nice day to show people how much you care about them but people shouldnt just do it on that day i think you can do it anyday not just in valentines day
Well for some people it may be tough but I been thinking about it and one of my friend made a good point about valentine's day. Its a day were couples can express their love for one another and for singles it can be a day were they can look foward for love to come. But yeah, some might feel lonely but they should look foward to love to come their way.
well i think that its a day that we love friends, family, and boyfriends or girlfriends... and for other people its sad because they dont have nobody to share this day.. i think this is interesting..
i think if lame tell the truth its just a another day to waste money on some one you'll be with for like a couple months. and theres stalkers out there.
i think that its a day to remind you how much you care about the one you love. theres no reason to feel lonely if you dont have that person yet, cause you will meet them eventually, it just hasnt happened yet.
I dont think much of it it's just another day. For some people it's a good day that they can celebrate with someone specail, for other people it can kinda suck and for others it just means nothing.
you should probably love that person everyday as much as you say you do in valentines day, therefore valentines day is just another day useless holiday thing....
I think Valentine's day is nice for people who have someone to share it with, and to show that person that you really care. For people who don't have anyone, it can be a sad day, or just be an ordinary day.

I think of Valentine's Day as just another day but a time where you should spend it with the person you love. I think it's a day where love should be emphasized. A day where you tell people you love and care about them. I also think though that for single people it might be hard hearing other people talk about it.
it's a stupid holiday seeing as everyday you should show the people you care about you love them. but i still love the holiday because you get to wear lots of pink and the day is filled with love and happiness and you can eat all the candy you want without seeming like a weird-o. but to the single people its great because you get to keep your money
If you have someone or some people you mind that you love and care, spend time with that special person. If you are in rush rather than spending time to cherish, give 'em a gift.
I see it as just a holiday that stores use to make money by selling chocolates, stuffed animals, and cards. Just another holiday that the real meaning isn't celebrated anymore.
i think valentines day is a special day because is my birthday and someone special can demostrate u how much they love you specially today sometimes little things can change huge things
